About Me

Dan Huang, Founder & CEO of Formosa Stays, has always had a passion for travel. Growing up, his family took annual vacations to new destinations, where they spent time recharging and making lasting memories. As life evolved, with marriage to his wife Jess, his brother starting a family, and their parents growing older—these trips became even more meaningful.

After graduating from business school in Washington, D.C., Dan moved to Dallas to join AT&T’s Finance Leadership Development Program. He spent several successful years at the company before stepping away due to family health matters. During this time, he rediscovered the importance of being with loved ones and how meaningful it is to have a special place to come together.

It was during this time that Dan discovered the world of short-term rentals, not only just for their income potential, but also for the impactful role they play in helping people create lasting memories through travel. This is when Formosa Stays was born.
